What is the blog exactly for?

The Yue Foundation Health Blog is the informative initiative of the Yue Foundation that aims to help people in Shanghai (China) to find answers to their medical related questions. It aims to do so by creating an online community and a platform where to share questions and ideas with other people living in Shanghai. It also aims to gather together the medical and health allied community to reach the population and become closer to them with the sole finality of informing, supporting and connecting people.

What is the Yue Foundation?

The Yue Foundation is a Non For Profit organization that aims to create social awareness about medical issues around the world through the use of art’s sensitivity and communicating capabilities. At the Yue Foundation, we believe that accessibility to education and healthcare are universal rights that need to be addressed and supported to make significant differences in the lives of those who need it the most. To achieve this, social awareness should be awaken, enlighten in a way that people can remember. At the Yue Foundation we firmly believe that art is the universal vehicle throughout which the most powerful ideas can be delivered. The topics we focus on are specially related to the field of physical medicine, rehabilitation, orthopedics, promotion of health and prevention of disabilities.

Who are International Rehabilitation Specialists?

International Rehabilitation Specialists is a medical group and practice that specializes in Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine and Spine Conditions. We are a group of medical and allied health professionals that firmly believe that social responsibility and education should be the main drives of every medical and allied health practitioner and are inseparable from their clinical responsibilities. Because of this, International Rehabilitation Specialists sponsors and supports the activities of the Yue Foundation and its aims to make a difference in this world.

Why only Shanghai?

International Rehabilitation Specialists was founded in Shanghai by international rehabilitation practitioners with the aim to create an international network of clinics with the same vision and capabilities. For now, Shanghai is the first practice attempting to make a difference and to show other colleagues that something can be made and that patients, victims and practitioners can all together make that change.

Is this a commercial blog? Is this blog trying to sell me anything?

The Yue Foundation Health Blog has no intentions other than inform and connect people. We do that from a very impartial and objective point of view with no other aims than helping people in a non lucrative way.

Why bother registering?

Registering will allow us to make our blog more personal offering different features to specific groups (patients, ocasional readers, contributors…). With time, we would be able to offer special deals and features to our subscribers

Is my information kept safe?

Our privacy policy won’t allow us to share your personal information with any third parties. Unless you enable the option in the forum (Edit your forum options –> Allow others to view my profile), your personal information won’t be shared with anyone else.

How can I help?

From time to time the Yue Foundation will organize fundraising events, art exhibitions, volunteering activities… If you wish to participate in any way, send us an email and read our blog for the details. If you are a medical, allied health practitioner or academic, please feel free to contact us for possible contributions in our blog.

How can I volunteer?

To volunteer in future events, you must be registered and talk with any of our representatives to make sure our work matches your expectatives and visions. Once we realized we are made for each other, let the change begin!

How can I advertise in this blog?

The links and logos you will find in our blog are mainly to support causes that we believe deserve a major attention. Partnerships are welcomed if you firmly believe in our vision, goals and means to achieve them. Sponsorships and donations are more than welcomed without any marketing or promotional purposes but will be listed as contributors and credited for your support.

Why some of the files in the DOWNLOADS area are not downloadable?

To ensure that we protect the intellectual property rights and work of our contributors, we will allow only registered members to download specific content targeted to patients.

Why can’t I use my right click in the website? Why can’t I copy any text from the website? Is there a way to get the content?

Obviously, to protect massive copy-pastes with other intentions than getting informed. You can always print and email our posts and articles or link your friends to them. If you need any of the content for other purposes rather than for informative intentions, feel free to contact us and we will facilitate you the files you might need.
